The Choral Program teaches students how to sing. Instruction includes reading music, learning vocal technique, training their ear to hear correct pitches and intervals, and learning how to blend their voices into a cohesive ensemble.
Just like their instrumental counterparts, students in the choir classes will learn music theory. Music Theory is essential to having a solid music foundation. All students learn about music history. We integrate world music into their education, exposing students to music all over the world to provide a comprehensive education.
Our choral program is divided into two levels: Choir, for ages 5th grade through Highschool, and Elementary Music for K through 4th grade. The elementary program utilizes rhythm and movement to help young students grasp basic theory concepts to assist them with learning music.
